Symmetry Example Layout</image:title><image:caption>Example of Dynamic Symmetry. To do this yourself first find the ratio of 1:1.618. Next I have color coded the lines to allow us to put them in the proper order. At the measured distance of 1:1.618 lay in the light blue line. Next the orange, yellow, green, blue and red. If done correctly your series of lines should look just like mine. The smallest rectangle is your "sweet spot" and the other lines can be used with your composition. </image:caption></image:image><lastmod>2012-05-21T14:28:33+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>monthly</changefreq></url><url><loc>https://joekronenberg.com/2012/05/13/kronenberg-spotlight-scott-waddell-a-world-class-artist-and-instructor/</loc><image:image><image:loc>https://joekronenberg.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/images1.jpeg</image:loc><image:title>images</image:title></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://joekronenberg.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/images.jpeg</image:loc><image:title>images</image:title><image:caption>Portrait in progress by Scott Waddell</image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://joekronenberg.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/unknown.jpeg</image:loc><image:title>"Steven" 11x14 by Scott Waddell</image:title><image:caption>"Steven" 11x14 by Scott Waddell</image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://joekronenberg.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/scott-waddell-in-studio1.jpg</image:loc><image:title>Scott Waddell in studio</image:title></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://joekronenberg.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/scott-waddell-in-studio.jpg</image:loc><image:title>Scott Waddell in studio</image:title></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://joekronenberg.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/self.jpg</image:loc><image:title>Scott Waddell</image:title><image:caption>Scott Waddell in his stuio</image:caption></image:image><lastmod>2012-05-14T06:41:09+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>monthly</changefreq></url><url><loc>https://joekronenberg.com/2012/05/10/what-is-a-grisaille/</loc><image:image><image:loc>https://joekronenberg.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/princesse-de-broglie.jpg</image:loc><image:title>Princesse-de-Broglie</image:title><image:caption>Any time you see a painting with amazing satin you can almost bet it was done with a grisaille base, then glazed as in "Princesse de Broglie" by Ingres. An interesting side note on this painting. As I was viewing it the the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC I noticed about an inch or so of unfinished painting at the bottom exposing the grisaille. Take a look at the detail below. </image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://joekronenberg.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/princesse-de-broglie-cropped-lower.jpg</image:loc><image:title>Princesse-de-Broglie-cropped-lower</image:title><image:caption>You can see about the bottom inch or so of this painting never got glazed.
